2018

Morneau Shepell acquires LifeWorks, bringing together best-in-class clinical support, technology and user experience to deliver a Total Well-being Solution people everywhere love to use.

2018

LifeWorks introduced preventative wellness solutions through Health Assessments and personal and organizational challenges. LifeWorks also continued technology innovation through integration with wearable technology providers including Apple, Google and Fitbit.

2017

LifeWorks continued to enhance our modern EAP and Total Well-being Solution with personalized, snackable content, spot rewards and a community news feed.

2016

LifeWorks merged with employee engagement specialist and technology innovator, WorkAngel. What followed was the introduction of the first unified Total Well-being Solution.

2014

Morneau Shepell launches the Total Health Index, the industry’s most robust employee health risk assessment and productivity metrics survey.

2011

Morneau Shepell introduces digital modalities, including online chat, self-service booking and video counselling.

2000

LifeWorks modernized the EAP by being the first to add Health & Wellness solutions to our fully integrated EAP and Work-Life services.

1996

LifeWorks launched fully integrated EAP and Work-Life services - another industry-first.

1974

LifeWorks introduced a market-leading Employee Assistance Program. The first EAP to provide 24-hour access to master’s level counsellors.
